Twinings Earl Gray black tea is a black tea from China with the finest bergamot aroma. The extremely refreshing tea is drunk black or with a little milk and is one of the classic black teas.
Earl Gray black tea is well known all over the world and was invented by Twinings. It all started when Richard Twining developed this iconic blend in 1831 at the request of Prime Minister Charles Grey, the "Earl of Gray" at the time. He loved the tea so much that Twinings named the tea after him.
